1. How We Fulfill Orders

PartsDirect.parts is operated by RevolutionParts Inc and fulfills all orders through a network of authorized wholesale distribution partners, including PartsAuthority, The Parts House, and Rough Country. These partners are licensed to supply the brands they carry and ship directly to you — allowing us to offer a wide selection with fast availability.

We do not maintain our own warehouse. Orders route to the distribution partner that stocks the item closest to your location.


2. Shipping Timeline

Your total delivery time consists of two separate stages: processing time and transit time.

Stage Timeframe Notes
Order Processing 1–2 business days In-stock items. Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST or on weekends or holidays process the next business day.
Special / Distributor Orders 2–3 business days to process Items fulfilled from a specific distribution partner. Processing begins the next business day.
Ground Transit 2–7 business days Varies by destination. Remote locations (AK, HI) may take additional time.
Estimated Total Delivery 3–10 business days Processing + transit combined. Overnight options available at additional cost.
Note: Processing time and transit time are separate. "Processing" is the time for your order to leave our distribution partner's facility. "Transit" is the carrier's delivery time to your address. These cannot be combined into a single arrival estimate.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated by the carrier based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. The exact cost will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase — there are no surprise charges after ordering.

Free Shipping

Orders for Rough Country products qualify for free standard shipping. Free shipping eligibility is noted on applicable product pages.

Oversized Items

Certain oversized or heavy items (such as lift kits, truck bed covers, and large suspension components) may incur additional shipping charges. You will be contacted for approval before shipment if additional charges apply.


4. Shipping Carriers & Processing Cutoff

We ship via UPS, FedEx, and USPS. We reserve the right to substitute carriers when necessary to reduce shipping costs or improve delivery speed.

Order Processing Cutoff: Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST on business days are processed the same day. Orders placed after this time, or on weekends and holidays, begin processing the next business day.

A tracking number will be emailed to you when each shipment leaves our distribution partner's facility. You can use this number to track your delivery directly on the carrier's website.

Standard ground shipments are delivered Monday through Saturday in most areas. Sunday delivery is not available.


5. Split Shipments

If your order contains products from multiple brands, your items may ship from different distribution partners and arrive on different days.

You will receive a separate tracking number for each shipment. Receiving one package before another is completely normal and does not mean your order is incomplete or lost. If you do not receive all items within the estimated delivery window, contact us at [email protected].


6. Where We Ship

  • We ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Additional transit time may apply for AK and HI.
  • We do not ship internationally at this time.
  • We do not accept COD (Cash on Delivery) orders.

7. Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives visibly damaged:

  1. Refuse delivery if possible and note the damage with the carrier at the time of delivery.
  2. Contact the carrier directly to file a damage claim. Retain all original packaging — the carrier may need to inspect it.
  3. If damage is discovered after delivery, contact the carrier within 48 hours.

Please note: Damage claims are processed by the shipping carrier, not by PartsDirect.parts. Retaining all original packaging is essential to support a successful claim.


8. Backordered or Discontinued Parts

If a part is backordered or discontinued, we will contact you by email or phone to advise on alternatives or estimated availability. You will have the option to wait, substitute, or cancel at no charge.


9. Overnight Shipping

Overnight shipping is available for an additional cost where offered by the carrier for your destination. Please note that overnight shipping applies to transit time only — it does not reduce order processing time. An order placed after business hours on a Friday with overnight shipping selected will not depart until the next business day.
